Bardia is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia located 44 kilometers (27 mi) southwest of the Sydney central business district, in the local government areas of the City of Campbelltown and City of Liverpool. It is part of the Macarthur region. The suburb got its name from the “Bardia Barracks” at Ingleburn which were named in honor of the successful engagement of the local 16th division in the Battle of Bardia, the first Australian action in World War II. Bardia was gazetted as a suburb on 18 December 2009. There is one public school in the area. Bardia Public School, which was renamed Ingleburn North Public School on 5 May 2015, is located on MacDonald Road. 2 Nights Bardia Jungle Safari is one of the popular tour packages to explore the largest and most undistributed national park of Nepal, Bardia National Park. The park comprises 839 species of flora and about 642 species of fauna. Bardia National Park provides habitat to at least 53 mammals including rhinoceros, wild elephant, Bengal Tiger, swamp deer, and Gangetic dolphin. It’s a great area for families with good amenities, and schools, and brand new houses on good-sized blocks. Definitely, a place to invest money or buy a house. Bardia is a wonderful place to live. Great shops, doctors’ schools, and sporting clubs, and social clubs nearby. There are some beautiful gardens and quiet streets. You can often hear the birds singing and there is a lot of trees and flowering bushes.

Bardia was the site of the first battle fought by Australian troops in the Second World War. On the morning of 3 January 1941, troops of the 16th Brigade of the 6th Australian Division attacked and broke through the western face of the defensive perimeter, while the 2/6th Battalion mounted a diversion in the south. On the morning of 3 January 1941, Australians of the 6th Division led an assault against the Italian colonial fortress-village of Bardia in Libya. The ensuing battle was the first battle of the Second World War planned and fought predominantly by Australians. Fantastic suburb for families and young couples especially new side of casula with all the new houses and fresh air.  pretty good proximity to city, good train lines Casula, liverpool, Glenfield or holsworthy to go anywhere in the city.
